This Central Europe tour starts in Prague and visits the historic spa town of Karlovy Vary before heading to Dresden, the “Florence on the Elbe.” It continues to Berlin for iconic sites such as the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, and Reichstag, then to Potsdam and the UNESCO-listed Sanssouci Palace, before crossing into Poland to explore Poznań and the capital, Warsaw, with its rebuilt Old Town and landmarks linked to Chopin, Copernicus, and Marie Curie. The journey then visits the UNESCO-listed Wieliczka Salt Mine and the medieval city of Kraków, followed by a solemn stop at Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, and an overnight in Brno in the Czech Republic. The final day features the fairytale UNESCO town of Český Krumlov, with its castle complex and red rooftops, and, time permitting, Hluboká Castle, before returning to Prague.
